The School Sports Partnership’s “Spring into Action” campaign starts on Monday 22nd February and is all about encouraging children and young people to get active more often and take regular breaks from the screen.

The campaign will run for 5 weeks with a 60 second challenge for children (and staff and families) to complete each week at home or in school. The challenges are designed to be quick and simple; they can be done inside with limited space/equipment and can be adapted to be easier or harder. They can also be used by teachers at the start/end of a lesson or as a quick movement break during a lesson. Everyone will be encouraged to try and beat their score throughout the week and attempt the challenge as many times as possible to break up screen/sitting time.

The challenges should support all children and young people to build a routine to achieve their 60 active minutes a day of physical activity. They include:

Week 5 Wall Ball Challenge
