We are excited to share Parkrun Primary, a UK wide initiative inviting primary schools to link up with their local junior parkrun events.
As a Parkrun Primary school, you can:
- Encourage children, families and school staff to enjoy outdoor physical activity on weekends and help children and young people to build lifelong habits
- Strengthen community connections and support a sense of belonging beyond the classroom
- Offer volunteering opportunities to students and staff developing confidence and skills
- Bring the PE/PSHE curriculum to life through real world experiences
Becoming a parkrun Primary is simple:
Register, run a school assembly, share info with families, attend a local junior parkrun event and you’re in!
