Bite Back 2030 – the movement to empower young people (aged 11 – 14yrs) to lead social action to improve their school food.
Bite Back School Food Champions is a fully funded national programme providing staff training and resources to support a cohort of pupils from Years 7 – 9 to lead a review of the food culture that exists in school and to make a difference.
Participating schools will receive £700 to nominate a lead teacher and to provide the materials for the students to deliver their social action projects. They will also receive the Food For Life Awards package for free for a year.
Bite Back is especially looking to recruit schools across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and will connect schools across the country enabling the work of the students to be show cased.
All applications need to be received by 31st May 2022.
