Sharing Best Practice With A Network Of School Communities

Ambassador Status

Ambassador Status is for those schools that are wishing to advocate the importance and benefits of embedding a whole school approach to health and wellbeing for both students and staff.

All schools that have achieved the Healthy Schools Accreditation are invited to continue onto Ambassador Status. This involves:

• Championing and promoting the accreditation process within their academy trusts or school networks.
• Agreeing to a meeting 12 months after achieving Healthy Schools Accreditation, to review continued progress or at least maintenance of the original award standards.
• Sharing best practice with other schools on the accreditation journey which will involve attending periodic remote meetings organised in conjunction with the Healthy Schools team.
• Engaging in initiatives and programmes provided by the Healthy Schools partner network.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for future development of the accreditation programme.
