Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination (CCI) will lead a networking event with an immersive introduction to Artscaping and share learning and best practice from their long-term arts in nature pastoral work delivered in partnership with Cambridge Acorn Project and Thongsley Fields Primary School. Everyone who attends the event, which is funded by the Public Health Directorate, will be provided with art materials, a CCI training resource pack aswell as refreshments and cake. Opportunities will be provided to:
- consider the impact creativity and nature connectedness can play in supporting good mental health for children and young people
- develop confidence in delivering art in nature activities in pastoral and SEND settings
- connect with and learn from colleagues working in education.
The event will be taking place between 4-6pm at Thongsley Fields Primary School, Huntingdon, PE29 1NX.
