YMCA has been supporting young people in the UK and across the world for over 150 years. YMCA Trinity Group delivers needs led services to communities across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough & Suffolk.
We are an established service, providing a range of preventative and clinical support to organisations, young people, their families and carers. Our holistic approach helps to develop a positive culture of wellbeing.
We provide a variety of training courses and workshops to improve the physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing of children, young people and staff in a range of settings.
Our courses are broken down into Core, Enhanced and Targeted training depending on your needs and requirements. This is based on a locally approved mental health competency framework, to help you decide what training you might need.
Some of the types of people and organisations that attend our training include:
- Education settings of all ages and types
- Businesses and charities
- Youth organisations and community groups
- Parents and carers
- Managers
- Mental health practitioners
- Sports clubs and groups
We are committed to upholding YMCA Trinity Group’s values of Integrity, Respect, and Belief in Potential, through a Holistic Approach to its care of those we work with.
We appreciate that needs will vary between organisations, according to the demographics of people using them.
For this reason, we have arranged our services so that you can select the ingredients that will best address their needs. These include therapeutic services, mentoring, building resilience group work, staff training, staff group and one to one supervision, parent/student workshops, strategy development, fundraising, and campaigns.
YMCA Trinity Group Mental Health Services allows you to:
- Identify, measure and address multiple physical, psychological and emotional needs of children, young people and adults in one comprehensive package of support
- Receive professional advice on the types of support you need, amount, and in what order
- Create a bespoke package of support tailored to your needs
- Concentrate on your curriculum or other priorities, confident that these additional priorities are being managed appropriately
- Receive information on the impact the services are making, both within your organisation, as well as across the spectrum of YMCA Mental Health Services.
- Discuss particular needs even if they don’t fit in with, the current list of options (e.g. consultancy packages, training and other interventions).
- Develop a positive well-being culture to enable all children, young people and staff to thrive.
We have worked with over 146 schools across the region and supported over 4500 young people, providing over 40,000 hours of direct interventions. We have also trained over 11,000 staff in mental health and have excellent feedback to demonstrate impact.
