The Kite Trust is inviting applications from primary, secondary, special schools and colleges to join the next cohort of The Rainbow Flag Award in January 2021. The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework which focuses on LGBTQ+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning, plus other related identities), inclusion and visibility. It is a year-long programme which takes approach to LGBTQ+ inclusion, as well as developing strategies to combat LGBTQ+phobic bullying.
The cost to undertake the award is£495, inclusive of:
- 2 places on an initial training day
- 3 evidence reviews over the course of the year
- ongoing telephone and email support
- 20% reduction on all Kite Trust training and resources
